Login Problems

Suno utilizes connected accounts for a streamlined login experience, but users may encounter issues. This section addresses common login problems and provides solutions.

Email Login Issues

When logging in with an email address, Suno offers five options: Apple, Discord, Google, Microsoft, or phone number. If you've previously used a connected account, select the corresponding icon. If unsure, try the most likely option.

  • Apple Login: If you select Apple and do not have an existing Suno account, a message will prompt you to create one using your Apple ID. This indicates that you may have previously logged in using a different method.
  • Google Login: Choosing Google will either log you into an existing account or create a new one, depending on whether the email address is already associated with a Suno account.

If your previous songs are not visible in your Library, it is possible that you have multiple accounts. Contact the support team at support@suno.com for assistance in navigating and recovering your account details. They can also help merge multiple accounts.

Phone Number Login Issues

There are two common problems when logging in with a phone number:

  1. OTP Not Received: You enter your phone number but do not receive a one-time passcode (OTP).
  2. Restricted Region Error: You receive an error message indicating that your region is restricted.

Both of these issues can be resolved by contacting the support team at support@suno.com.

It's important to note that regional restrictions may be temporary and are often put in place due to suspicious or unusual activity. These measures are intended to ensure the security of all Suno users.

A solution may involve creating a new account using one of the four connected login methods: Apple, Discord, Google, or Windows. This allows you to use the same email/password combination as if you were checking your email. Password changes are managed directly through the service, not through Suno. The support team can assist in transferring existing music and credits to your new account.

Inconsistent Prohibited Language Errors

Suno's language moderation can sometimes be unpredictable. It may flag seemingly harmless words while accepting others with explicit content. This inconsistency makes it difficult for users to know what is acceptable.

The moderation system may use a scale to evaluate the obscenity level of lyrics, considering both specific words and overall themes. This leads to varied acceptance depending on the context.

Here are some suggested solutions to bypass the filter:

  • Modify Words: Alter the spelling of a flagged word. For example, "blood" can be modified to "bl00d".
  • Check Updates: If issues occur suddenly, it may be related to a recent update. Keeping track of updates can help identify why the AI behavior changed.
  • Try Different Phrasing: Use different words or phrases to convey the same message. For example, "rip the heart from my chest" can be modified to "tear my soul apart."
  • Consult Support: If the problem persists, contacting Suno’s support can provide specific guidance on what is currently acceptable.

Additional tips include testing lyrics before finalizing, checking for NSFW settings, and understanding that free accounts may have stricter moderation compared to subscription accounts.
