Billing Exception Handling
This section outlines the procedures for managing billing exceptions, including refunds, cancellations, payment updates, and understanding credit usage within the Suno platform.
Refund Policies
Suno's payment policies are generally final and non-refundable, but exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis. Here are scenarios where refunds may be considered:
- Service Discontinuation: If Suno discontinues its service, a pro-rata refund will be issued based on the remaining subscription period.
- Accidental Payment: If a user accidentally subscribes to a yearly plan instead of a monthly one, Suno may revert the payment to a monthly plan and issue a partial refund.
- Unused Subscription: If a user starts a subscription but does not use it at all, and there are no songs generated, Suno may consider a refund.
- Product Malfunction: Significant downtime or non-functioning features may lead to compensation in the form of credits that carry over to the next month.
Refunds are typically not granted for the following:
- Changed Mind: If a user has used the service for a period and then decides they no longer want it. In this case, users are advised to cancel their plan.
- Intermittent Usage: Refunds are not issued for periods of non-use within a monthly plan. Users are encouraged to cancel and resubscribe as needed.
