Education Discount Application

Suno offers a discounted subscription plan for eligible university students and teachers. This plan, known as the Student Pro plan, aims to make Suno's music creation tools more accessible to the academic community.

Eligibility​

The Student Pro plan is available to students and teachers at universities listed in the World Higher Education Database (WHED). To be eligible, users must have an email address from an eligible institution. High school students are not currently eligible for this discount.

Discount Details​

The Student Pro plan provides one free month of Pro features, followed by a 50% discount, bringing the monthly cost to $5 (regular price: $10/month). This allows students and teachers to access the full capabilities of Suno at a reduced rate.

How to Apply​

  1. Create an Account: Sign up for a Suno account using your official university email address (e.g., .edu or your institution's domain).
  2. Subscribe: Once your account is set up with your university email, subscribe to the Student Pro plan to receive immediate access to the free month of Pro features, followed by the discounted rate.

International Availability​

The Student Pro plan is available to students and teachers at eligible universities worldwide. As long as your university is listed in the WHED and you have an email address from that institution, you can sign up.

Troubleshooting​

  • Email Issues: If you encounter issues with your school email, ensure you are using your official university email address. If problems persist, contact students@suno.com for assistance.
  • Existing Accounts: If you have an existing Suno account using a different email, you must cancel your current subscription and create a new account using your university email to access the Student Pro offer, including the free month.
  • Existing Pro Plans: If you have an existing Pro plan, you must cancel it and then re-subscribe using your university email to receive the free month trial. Simply switching plans will not grant the free month due to Stripe limitations.

School Eligibility​

To verify if your school is eligible, attempt to sign up using your school email address. If your school is not listed in the WHED but should be, email students@suno.com for review.
